Affidabile, veloce ed esteticamente perfetta: più&amp;#39; bella anche della gs. Ne sono state prodotte solo 44000 tra prima e seconda serie. Credo che ne siano rimaste in circolazione, in tutto il mondo, non più&amp;#39; di 5000. Ecco perche&amp;#39; un ottimo conservato  puo&amp;#39; costare anche 8000 euro. L’avevo letto già da un po’ di tempo, ma me ne stavo dimenticando; poi, entrando nel Blog, ho rivisto il commento (doppio, forse per un tuo errore… spero di non farlo anch’io). Cosicché mi sono deciso, finalmente, a lasciare un mio pur sintetico commento. Ebbene, tornando al tema, io confermo che quella Vespa l’acquistai il 2 agosto 1973. Nonostante che dalla Piaggio io non abbia mai avuto alcun sostegno tecnico, organizzativo, economico e pubblicitario (o semplicemente morale)... posso affermare, in assoluta libertà, di essere stato molto soddisfatto della “Vespa 200 Rally” (la mia Gigia), che trovo adatta al tipo di viaggi da me fatti. C’è da tener conto che già quando andai verso il facilissimo percorso per Capo Nord, la Vespa non era nuova. Per maggior ragione, quando l’anno successivo mi avviai verso l’India, lo scooter aveva quattro anni di vita. Era la prima Vespa con il miscelatore automatico e la centralina elettronica (senza ovviamente l’accensione automatica) che, onestamente, mi terrorizzava. Infatti, nei quattro anni prima di partire per “quel viaggio”, la centralina elettronica mi si era già rotta per ben due volte: per precauzione me n’ero portata una scorta (costosissima e poi inutilizzata). Beh, il guaio più grosso di quella Vespa era, come sempre in quel periodo, il freno: quelli a tamburo erano un disastro! Se si vuole vedere gli accorgimenti fatti prima di partire per la cerchia dei monti himaliani, basta vedere le foto messe nel Blog intitolato “Viaggi, libri e curiosità” ( http://giorgiocaeran.blogspot.com/  ).&lt;br /&gt;Un’ultima cosa: ne approfitto per ringraziare te per i commenti e soprattutto il “Vespa Web” per le recensioni dei miei libri (ciò l’ho anche menzionato nei miei due Blog).
